Crystal Mink, PharmD, CDE, AE-C, 340B ACE

Dr. Mink has over 19 years of experience in the field of pharmacy, with the past ten years focused on the 340B program. She had spent the past six years performing auditing and consulting work as a Managing Partner with 340B Partners, LLC. With 340B Partners, Dr. Mink provides audits and consulting for a multitude of covered entity types including DSH, CAH, RW, ADAP, FQHC, etc.

Her work with 340B Partners also includes managing 340B programs for a large DSH and an FQHC. This consists of TPA management, ESP maintenance, program optimization, self-auditing, steering committee presentations, etc. In addition to managing programs, she also consults on new pharmacy openings including, but not limited to, viability analysis, application assistance, vendor recommendations, and timeline development.

Prior to 340B Partners, Dr. Mink worked as a 340B Senior Manager with a large accounting and consulting firm. This included performing 340B audits as well as managing and reviewing audits performed by junior auditors.

Before getting into the auditing and consulting field, Dr. Mink worked as a compliance pharmacist for an FQHC. This work included overseeing all aspects of Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and HRSA compliance as well as managing the day-to-day workings of the 340B program. Her experience both managing and auditing programs gives a unique perspective on her work as a 340B auditor and consultant.

Dr. Mink earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from West Virginia University. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator, Certified Asthma Educator, and is also a 340B Apexus Certified Expert (340B ACE). She attends 340B University and the 340B Coalition at least annually as well as staying up to date through various news outlets and webinars.
